Grandparents supporting Grandchildren

Background

If you are supporting a grandchild on a full-time basis or understand the blessings and challenges that this role brings, we would love to meet with you. We welcome you sharing your experiences – to be seen, heard and celebrated.

A forum for you, if you would like to hear from other grandparents also sharing their experiences – a place to meet, and hear from them.

Delivery 

We are meeting regularly – currently on a Thursday from 11am-1pm at Flourish Taranaki.
We have some kai and refreshments available.
Feel free to bring a support person along with you should you choose.

Term 2, 2023 Dates: Thursday 11 May, Thursday 8 June, and Thursday 29 June 2023. 

We meet upstairs at Flourish Taranaki (in the main grandstand at the NP Racecourse, above the TRFU gymnasium – entrance through the bottom double glass doors and upstairs on the mezzanine floor).

Cost

No charge – Thanks to the generosity of a local sponsor, this group is free, although we welcome a koha for Flourish if you wish to assist in running more groups at Flourish.
