Kia Ora, My name is Renee Harrison. I am a mum to 5 girls. I invite you to bring a plate of food to share and come and join us on Tuesdays 11.30-1.30.

We can connect over sharing of food and learning some sentences and words in Te reo Māori that we can use at home with our children. We will sing some songs, learn some karakia and play some games to support our journey.

Resources Required

Just bring yourself and whatever your pēpē may need, shared kai optional

What to expect

Come along and learn to speak Te reo māori in a safe space by listening, trying and having fun with other parents.

We meet approx 11.30am grab a kawhe/coffee

Sing waiata/songs with our pēpe in Te reo māori

Bring along any pātai/questions or sentences you want to learn to use at your whare/home

Eat kai/food lunch together and korero/chat

Date and times

11.30-1.30pm – Tuesday 17th, 31st October, 14th and 28th November and 12th December.

Cost

Free. Koha welcome but not necessary.
